Marshall University Information Technology is experiencing an unplanned network outage impacting certain sites on the Huntington campus including: Drinko Library, SBUS, Corbly Hall, Shewey, Communications Building, Baseball, Softball, Public Safety, and Weisburg Engineering. We will update once our team has time to assess the issue. MUIT will follow up hourly until the issue is resolved.

ISSUE:  Marshall Information Technology will be working with our Internet and Internet2 provider on 18-March-2025 to upgrade our backbone connection. ​Tuesday​ 18-March Schedule: 4:00 am – Migrate all Internet/Internet2 services to a single router in Drinko Library.  < 1-minute Internet2 outage. 6:00 pm – Migrate all internet/internet2 services to the secondary router in Prichard Hall < 1-minute

Marshall University Information Technology has resolved the issue causing a network outage in the Shewey Athletics Building and Weight Room.
