Biography
Ashley Coon, MA, Provisionally Licensed Counselors, is a WV native and two-time daughter of Marshall University, earning her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023. She is a provisionally licensed counselor and focuses continuing education in specialties such as trauma informed care, OCD, and somatic strategies for therapeutic benefit.
Ashley aims to offer a person-centered, collaborative therapeutic approach where students can feel safe, understood, and motivated to grow. She recognizes the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance and individualized care to best support student needs and goals.
In her free time, Ashley values and prioritizes self-care, rest, personal interests, close relationships, and her two cats.
