Counseling Center Workshops & Support Groups – Fall Semester
Explore opportunities to connect, grow, and care for your mental wellness through our therapeutic workshops and support groups. All offerings are free and open to currently enrolled students. Registration is required.

Mindful Movement Workshop
Where movement meets mindfulness.
Engage in gentle yoga and mindfulness practices that support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and foster connection between body and mind. No prior yoga experience necessary. Yoga mats will be provided.

Do You Feel Like You’re Doing It All?
Support group for student parents.
This monthly support group is designed for full-time parents or expecting parents who are also full-time students. Connect with others who understand the unique challenges and successes of balancing academics and parenting.

Gro Garden Therapy
Grow with nature, grow within.
Experience healing and emotional expression through hands-on gardening and connection with the natural world. GRO is a therapeutic community that fosters well-being, skill-building, and service through cultivating plants and relationships.
- Location: Campus Greenhouse (next to the Science Building; entrance on the right side)

Craft Your Calm
Mindful making for anxiety relief.
Engage in creative, hands-on activities that promote relaxation and emotional grounding. This group encourages mindful crafting to support mental clarity and reduce anxiety.

Social Skills Workshop
Based on the PEERS® curriculum developed at UCLA.
This evidence-based social skills group is tailored for students who are neurodivergent, experience social anxiety, or face challenges in building social connections. The group offers a supportive space to learn, practice, and strengthen everyday social interactions.

Being a Minority at a PWI –
“Finding our Space” is a group for all minority students with finding their space, expressing their identity, engaging on campus, and discussion of challenges of minority students. In this confidential and courageous community environment, we will discuss confronting the complexities of diversity, culture, and mental health. Come for a fun and engaging group!
