Biography
Sandra S. Stroebel, Ph.D., serves as a professor and coordinator of field experiences within the School Psychology Program at Marshall University. She instructs graduate-level courses in counseling, program evaluation, and internship.
Dr. Stroebel brings over 15 years of experience as a practicing school psychologist in both public school systems and private settings. Her scholarly contributions include co-authoring numerous peer-reviewed articles and delivering presentations at state and national conferences. She has also partnered on the implementation of 13 grant-funded initiatives.
Deeply committed to community service, she has provided counseling to children and adolescents for more than 15 years. Dr. Stroebel remains actively involved in her state’s school psychology association, supporting ongoing professional development for practitioners across West Virginia. She has previously represented the state as a delegate to the national association and currently chairs the West Virginia Board of Examiners of Psychologists, overseeing licensure and regulation within the state.
