Your course will be hosted on Blackboard Ultra.
For those unfamiliar with Blackboard below is a quick explanation. For a more visual explanation please see the link on question 11.
- Blackboard Ultra is Marshall University’s online learning platform. It’s kind of like a digital classroom where teachers can post things like lecture notes, videos, and assignments, and students can log in to see what they need to learn and what’s due.
- Teachers can also create quizzes and tests for students to take right on the site, and then they can grade them and give feedback all in one place. Students can check their grades, see announcements from their teachers, and even join class discussions or video sessions. Everything is in one spot, which makes it easier to keep track of what’s going on in each class.
- Visit: https://marshall-bb.blackboard.com/
- Click the X on the dialog box that appears.
- Log in using your full email address.
- Your password is: Centennial25#
- If you have a Marshall account, you can also access Blackboard through MyMU.
Once logged in, you’ll find your course under the “My Course” tab in the left-hand menu. It will be titled something like: “dev-lastname-centennial.”
Fill out this word document: Centennial Microcredential Course Outline for each course and send it to our designers at microcredentials@marshall.edu.
